If you surf, you can live close to a beach. Likewise if you skate, you can live near a skatepark. When it comes to rock climbing however, living right next to your favourite wall isn’t exactly easy.
American climber Alex Honnold explains that he’s “never been particularly motivated to live in a car”, although given that it allows him the opportunity to wake up in the middle of Yosemite National Park, right next to some of his favourite walls, van life is all about the convenience.
