When it comes to mainstream sports like surfing or skating, there are few parts of the world that haven’t been searched for spots. However when it comes to some of the niche sports – such as Bouldering – there is still much undiscovered terrain. The Warm Heart of Africa follows climbers Mélissa Le Nevé and Benjamin Rueck as they explore the overlooked country of Malawi in South Africa.
With almost no knowledge about the country and relying solely on satellite imagery from Google Earth, the two set out in hopes of finding new bouldering locations. Whilst also there to discover the amazing landscapes and people of Malawi, they quickly discover why the country is called ‘The Warm Heart of Africa’.
