Tyler Hollmer-Cross is no stranger to getting obliterated by monster waves. In 2013 he was crowned Australia’s biggest wave rider, winning himself a nice $20k in prize money, thanks to a particular wipeout he took at Shipsterns Bluff in Tasmania.
Nor is Shipsterns Bluff a stranger to serving up some of the heaviest wipeouts in surfing history. The following wave isn’t that which won him biggest wave rider of the year, however it is nothing short of insane. Check it.
