Tom’s Creation Plantation gives us a look into the world of Tom Wegener, the man behind reintroducing alaia’s into modern surfing. As well as shining light on Tom’s philosophy and approach to building surfboards, the film features surfing by some of the best alaia riders in the world.
One such rider is Ryan Burch, who in the following clip demonstrates how to flawlessly surf an alaia, and also throw down possibly the most rotations we’ve ever seen on a surfboard.
