Italy is not at the top of the go-to destinations list for surf, which means they’re intense passion and love for the sport can often be overlooked. Director Luca Merli has tried to rectify this, producing the incredibly stylized and romantic surf film ‘Onde Nostre’.
With a range of shooting styles from 16mm to Super 8, the Italian surf sensibility has been captured perfectly. Good Mediterranean waves, stunning environments and a carefree ambience makes for one deeply satisfying viewing, that will in no doubt leave you craving for an Italian escape.
