Over the last couple of years, wave pools have been a hot topic in the surfing world. A number of pools have opened in various locations around the world including the UK, Dubai and North America. Even Kelly Slater has jumped on the wave pool band wagon, opening his own pool which appears to produce the best man-made waves in the world.
Wavegarden, the owners of Snowdonia in Wales, have just opened their second facility in Austin, Texas under the name Nland. The facility opened its doors on the weekend, and although its waves might not be as perfect as Kelly’s, it still looks ridiculously fun. Check out the video above to see what it’s like.
