Everyone loves a good mateship story and ‘You And Me‘ is one of the very best. The film focuses on quadriplegic, David ‘Barney’ Miller, a promising young surfer from Coffs Harbour, Australia, who nearly lost his life in a heavy car accident at the age of 20.
Barney still lives the life, he’s an ambassador for Red Bull Wings for Life, a fundraiser for spinal cord injury and when he isn’t travelling the world, he’s shredding the line up with best mate, Mick Fanning – there is nothing that will hold him back but Barney has one more mission, to stand at the alter and dance with his wife, Kate at their wedding.
Through the love and support of his family, friends (world surfing champion, Mick Fanning) and soul mate, Kathryn ‘Kate’ Southwell, Barney will take on the impossible.
