‘The Big O’ is one of North America’s most iconic skate spots. The spot is a 50-foot-long, eight-foot-high concrete pipe originally built as a pedestrian passageway for the 1976 Summer Olympics and what was one’s man trash is now another mans treasure, the city of Montreal were looking to destroy the pipe but skaters from all over the world petitioned to keep it, so the chunk of concrete was preserved and move else where.
