A few years ago Cyrus Sutton, along with friends Chris Burkard, Foster Huntington, Dane Gudauskas, Trevor Gordon, Ben Weiland and Keith Malloy, travelled to the remote Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia in search of unridden waves. Of the numerous spots they explored during their trip, one particular break showed a lot of potential.
So with a promising swell forecast, Cyrus decided to head back to Russia, this time with friends Anna Ehrgott and Dylan Gordon. Things didn’t exactly pan out as Cyrus had hoped, but sometimes it’s these unexpected events that make a trip.
