Yet again, Jamie O’brien has taken a water sport to the next level at Pipeline. Originally conquering mini-mal foamies, he moved on to mid wave board transfers and towing in on inflatable toys and hamster wheels. He got barrelled on a kayak and his good mate ‘Poopies’ got barrelled on a pair of waterskis. Now, just when you think they’ve done it all, Poopies and JOB go tandem on a long foamy… at Pipe.
Everyone who surfs, at some stage, has tried tandem surfing when the waves are below average. And they would know doing so at Pipeline is damn near impossible. The results are highly entertaining and equally impressive.
