Five years ago, on Valentine’s Day, Garage Entertainment put a humble little doco named ‘First Love’ into cinemas around Australia. It resonated with girl surfers around the world and beat out the all male action sports competition at several film festivals, most notably winning ‘Best Documentary’ at X-Dance in 2011.
