Over the last 10 weeks, we’ve gone missing with Mick Fanning, scored perfect Mexican point breaks with Rasta, discovered untapped barrels in the jungles of Java with Joel Fitz and visited the frigid coastlines of Iceland with Dane Reynolds. We’ve travelled from one end of the globe to the other and surfed a buffet of reefs, point breaks and beachies. We’ve fist pumped and cruised to some nostalgic tunes by Placebo, Years Around The Sun, Jake Bugg & Angus Stone and had a beer in every setting.
Sadly, all good thing must come to an end, that’s a wrap for Corona Moments – we’re ending our tour in the tropical island of Barbados with Kelly Slater’s all time session at Soup Bowls featured in Taylor Steele’s 2006 travel piece, Sipping Jetstreams. A true Corona Moment for Kelly labelling this session as ‘possibly the best few days of surfing in my life.”
