Sheldon Simkus is that grom you see at your local break permanently frothing. Sheldon grew up surfing one of the best point breaks in the world; Snapper Rocks.
Garage and Oakley recently took Sheldon away from the comfort of the predictable, perfect and heaving waves of Snapper Rocks, across the country to the secluded, heavy W.A coast to chase crazy barrels with fellow Oakley team rider and buddy Ethan Ewing. A whole other world away from the crowds and comfort of the Gold Coast, Sheldon and Ethan score firing 6-8ft barrels at W.A’s finest breaks; Tombstones, Gnaraloo, Monuments and Jakes with only a handful of guys.
