The wakeskate pro Danny Hampson and fellow Obscura Wakeskate team members spent 3 years making a film entirely dedicated to the sport they love… and it’s pretty darn spectacular.
The film, ‘Washed up Before We Were Has-Beens’, was directed, produced and recorded by the founder of the Obscura team, the legendary Danny Hampson (so you know this production was a labour of love). The goal? To showcase some of the best pushing the boundaries of wakeskating action around the world – and they have certainly succeeded. The skill level of this film is so immense it earned ‘Best Wakeskate video section’ at the Transworld Wake Awards.
