Nathan Oldfield is an award-winning independent filmmaker who has been producing beautiful timeless surf films for over 15 years. When he isn’t travelling to exotic surf locations, behind the camera or in the editing room, Nathan is a father, school teacher, photographer, surfer and all round nice guy living in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Australia.

Here’s a look at the teasers for Nathan’s sixth film release, The Church of the Open Sky – A luscious visual love poem that explores gratefully lived surfing journeys. It is a sea soaked celebration of the exquisite preciousness of being alive.
This film is an inspired and endearing representation of the surfing experience, where all participants are worthy and welcomed – to learn, play and grow together – in inclusive, sacred playgrounds beneath ‘The Church of the Open Sky’.
