Monday marked the 3rd anniversary since we lost one of Australia’s best skateboarders, Lewis Marnell. Sadly he passed away on the 18th of January 2013 due to complications with diabetes, which he’d had since the age of 10. He was known for his friendly personality and positive attitude towards life, and anyone who knew or met him will tell you that. His death was a major loss for his friends, family and the skateboarding community as a whole. To celebrate and remember the life of Lewis, here’s a section from his part in Nike’s ‘Nothing But The Truth’.
